"California trio Prettiest Eyes specialize in a buzzing, psychedelic form of noise-rock. They’re gearing up for the release of Pools, the follow-up to last year’s Looks, and today they’ve shared a new music video for early track “Gold Snake.” Directed by the band themselves, the clip matches the song’s churning menace with lo-fi VHS-quality footage of the band performing some sort of arcane ritual, intercut with brief bursts of kaleidoscopic color."
